Along fixed ropes towards the sky
One could describe climbing on fixed rope route also as rope acts, the routes are secured by fixed ropes along the mountain slope.
These rope routes first were first used in the 1. world war, where in the severly embattled Dolomites men and supplies needed to be brought in real and dangerous heights.
Today thes routes are used, by the people amking their first experiences on the moutnain flank. But there are fixed rope route, which even experienced climber consider a challenge.
